2018 TBR

For some reasons, I was only able to read 15 books in 2017. That’s because I make sure I read at least one book a month. I got extra 3 reads during vacation idek how.

This 2018 I’m hoping for a more bookish year since I’m gonna leave my instagram account temporarily (I think…) so yes all my extra time’s for reading. Some titles are extra old. And I even purchased book 3 when I don’t have book 1 and 2, hah, that’s why the list never ends. Then ebook happened so other times I’ve read it but do not have a physical copy AND I need physical ones. If you’re wondering how long my list is…

That is the full written list. Some are typed on my memos since I can’t actually take my notebook out when buying books, can I?

First column: checkbox for books read

Second column: checkbox for books bought

Third column: field for book titles

I THINK I can read all those books written and typed but I’m gonna have to quit school. Kidding.

  1. Ooh, there are definitely some good books on here! Turtles All the Way Down without a doubt!
Looking for Alaska wasn’t really a top read for me; enjoyable but I liked Turtles better when it comes to Green’s writing.
Fangirl is on my TBR as well!

Good luck with your TBR! πŸ˜€

  2. GOOD LUCK MERV! It’s so cool you could do yearly tbrs, I’m never sure how many books I could read in a year. I don’t think I can commit to a yearly tbr, so I just work with monthly tbrs because if I fail I tend to get really disappointed or stressed out for not meeting my goal.

    1. Oh my. Are all TBR books supposed to be read? All of them? I mean, I just list down the books i want to read for 2018 and see how many i can cross off. But thank you, now i know that im not the only one getting disappointed&stressed out when there’s a book unread on a tbr list.

      1. Hahaha! I like to think books have their own personalities and when I add them to my tbr it’s like I’m promising to read them soon. I’d stop to think, “how would I feel if I were the book?” It’s weird but all booknerds are weird so who cares?

I use Goodreads to keep tabs on books that interest me and later remove the ones which I think I won’t ever get to reading. So I’d still feel real enough for clicking that “Want to Read” button. πŸ˜€

    1. Oh my! A hundred books?! I’ve done that when I was in high school now i’m not so sure. But your 550 books is so inspiring that i feel like i should start reading now haha my goal’s 50 but it seems 550 now. Does that make any sense???? Oh and good luck! ❀
